HERE IS A NEW MATERIAL THAT JUST CAME OUT OF CHINA AT TUCSON THIS YEAR.  IT IS A LIGHT YELLOW /GREEN COLOR TURQUOISE WITH BLACK INCLUSIONS THROUGHOUT THE PIECE.  I AM LISTING 1 SLAB OF IT TOTALING 2 OUNCES IN WEIGHT.  THE COLOR IN THE PICTURES ON THIS SLAB IS APPROXIMATELY CORRECT!
I have never seen  a yellow turquoise but I guess it exists since I got it from my main wholesaler that I have dealt with for about 30 years.  I put a piece of  it in my 18" saw and sliced up a few slabs.  I also took the heel end and faced off and polished the end just to ensure that it takes a good polish.  It ground down and polished pretty fast and does take a good polish.  It may have a fracture or 2 but I don't see any. I am listing this slab which weighs a total of 2.4 ounces.  The dimension of the slab is about 4"x1.9"x1/4" thick.  The colors of this slab is about the same as the color in the pictures show (kind of a hint of yellow with a light & dark green color).   It was taken with natural sunlight through the window in my shop.  The slab should yield some really nice cabs.  So I am going to list this at a starting bid of .99 which is a rediculously low price for turquoise of any color.  I don't think you will find a better deal anywhere for this new material.
Look at the pictures which were taken with the slab wet, then decide for yourself what it is worth.
I most likely will ship all my pieces USPS priority mail or by first class mail with tracking.
