Description
The Model OB-SD "Legacy" Antique Electric Meter
is restored to the
same exacting cosmetic standards as our lamp - based models, but is
otherwise beyond electromechanical restoration. Any of the flaws that
detract from the meter's operability are invisible.
Accordingly, the Model OB-SD retains its museum-piece quality as a
classic electrical instrument and a true surviving representative of the
electric industry's early, formative years.
Whether acquired for yourself or a special recipient, this very special
1920's - era residential electric meter will instantly become the center
of attention wherever it is displayed.
The meter's restored components are visible through the original
glass cover. This cover is specially polished to provide a high level
of clarity for viewing the interior mechanism. Included are three
copper wire & pressed-on security seals, just like the olden-days
metermen installed to thwart tampering.

This museum-piece restoration includes a 1" x 4" brass plate
that you can have engraved at your local trophy shop and then
install on the base using the included brass screws.
This display is hand-crafted in the USA by Classic Meters/Arcman
Corporation. Sometimes imitated, never duplicated, these are
still the finest vintage meter items available. Your display is backed
by over 36 years of experience and an iron-clad warranty.
