This is a small piece of Jasper (or perhaps a Rhyolite?) we acquired through an estate sale.  From the little we have found on the material, it was collected sometime around the 60's.  It appears to be pretty rare, no longer available for collecting.  It was from an old bombing range, Gunnery Point, in Arizona. It was also marketed around that time as Arizona Sunset Jasper.  This one has small windows of some very neat potential - pastel shades of reds/pinks, greens and/or blues.  (4993).
